Project Background
In December 2022, floor grinding robots and floor paint application robots were deployed for fully automatic floor construction works at the Lake City Project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Advantage of Robotics
The floor grinding robot supports fully automatic grinding operation, with a construction efficiency of 300 square meters per hour per pass. It enables long-hour continuous work and multi-machine collaborative operation.
The floor paint application robot can automatically complete the full construction procedures of primer, intermediate coat and topcoat for floor coating works.
Its overall construction efficiency outperforms manual labor, with prominent advantages in large-area construction; the average net construction efficiency reaches 300 square meters per hour.
Compared with conventional construction methods, robots can be adopted for all procedures including base surface grinding, primer coating, intermediate coating and top coating of epoxy flooring, as well as grinding and polishing procedures of sealed curing flooring.
